Here at Brentford Boating Arch, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all our participants. We practice "serious fun" within a safe learning environment at all times. BBA operates a safety first policy, all participants are asked to adhere to this rule and use good judgement whilst on the water.
All participants must complete and sign a consent form before taking part in any BBA activiities. Forms can be downloaded here and brought with you to the session. Alternatively, you can complete a consent form on the night.
Please note that any participants under the age of 18 require parental consent and a signature. We will not take anybody out onto the water without the satisfactory requirements being completed in advance. |
Clothing:
When attending a kayaking session, it is advised that you or your child wear suitable clothing. Wet suits, dry suits, rash vests and/or board shorts can be worn. In winter we will provide water resistant jackets but all participants are advised to wear suitably warm clothing (preferably water proof). In the Summer months shorts and T shirts will suffice. All Participants are expected to bring a change of clothes and a towel to each session. Medical: Participants are responsible for bringing their own medication such as inhalers, tablets etc to each session. These should be given to the head coach at the beginning of each session. |
