Brentford FCCST Tennis Outreach Program Brentford FC Community Sports Trust (BFCCST) in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and the High Performance Tennis Centre at the Esporta Riverside Club (Chiswick) have been working in schools in Ealing and Hounslow, offering free curriculum time tennis coaching and running after school tennis clubs. Delivery is planned and carried out by LTA trained coaches who have adapted the format of 'Mini Tennis' to coincide with national PE curriculum standards. By delivering year round provision in schools, we are working to increase the accessibility of this sport so that pupils in years 1-3 not only have a great time learning the game, but are able to continue playing the game as they grow. Our after schools clubs meet this need by providing affordable coaching in both a fun and safe environment. For promising players, our partnerships with Middlesex County LTA and the High Performance Centre at Esporta Riverside help us identify and develop the possible future stars of British Tennis so that we can provide them with specialist coaching through Advanced Training Programmes and ensuring support from their local tennis clubs.
