Griffin Park Learning Zone
Griffin Park Learning Zone (GPLZ) is an education centre situated in the heart of Brentford Football Club’s Griffin Park Stadium. During the week the Brentford FC Media Room is transformed into an ICT & learning suite offering stimulating activities which motivate and inspire learners.
Participants benefit from our unique learning environment and ethos and we draw on our professional resources, using the football stadium, coaching staff and the Brentford FC players to enhance our programmes.
Through all our programmes we reinforce positive attitudes to learning and promote behaviours and skills which provide a platform to achieve.
All programmes are designed to complement the learning that takes place in school and our work is tailored to focus on the needs of particular individuals, groups or classes.
Building self-confidence and motivation are major features in all our activities and we are able to allow young people the freedom to be creative, working independently or in groups at their own pace to ensure they get the most out of their time with us.
