25th Anniversary launches at West London Audi

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust - Celebrating 25 Years.

Thursday 26th January saw Brentford FC CST's official launch our 25th anniversary celebrations.

The prestigious West London Audi showrooms situated on the Great West Road in Brentford played host to the nights celebrations which saw over 250 participants and guests come together to celebrate our silver anniversary.

Established in 1987, Brentford Football in the Community (as it was known until 2005) has grown from a single Community Officer to a registered charity, employing a team of 100 staff and volunteers, coaching 20 sports across 436 projects per year.

From the onset, the community projects that the Trust offers have been recognised as innovative and engaging which has resulted in a number of awards. Our strategy has been built upon creating partnerships with public, private and voluntary organisations. The result has seen the Trust develop a core programme that delivers a range of activities and initiatives all of which contribute to raising physical activity levels and creating engaging educational, employment and volunteering opportunities.

2012 is our most exciting year to date. Our silver anniversary is set against the backdrop of the London Olympics and we are planning a number of local events to engage and inspire people of all ages and abilities.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff, volunteers, trustee's and partners for their continued support, dynamism and creativity. We look forward to the future as we continue to develop projects that positively engage and make a difference to our community.
