Dean Smith enjoys an exciting Q&A session at London Tigers event

Brentford manager, Dean Smith, enjoyed an exciting Q&A session at the London Tigers awards ceremony last week.

London Tigers, an award-winning charity that helps disadvantaged communities in London, was celebrating the achievements of its participants, volunteers and staff.

“I was delighted to represent Brentford FC at the London Tigers Annual Awards Ceremony,” Dean said.

“It was great to meet so many of the winners and see the work of participants, staff and volunteers marked at an event like this – I hope everyone that attended enjoyed it as much as I did.”

Along with the Q&A session, Dean presented an award for ‘Football Player of the Year’ and posed for photos with the winners and the prestigious FA cup (pictured).

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and London Tigers teamed up in 2014 for Southall Synergy – a community sports project based in Southall, west London. The project, funded by Sport England, engaged with nearly 2,000 young people – empowering them to achieve their life goals through training, coaching and volunteering opportunities.

Dean Smith joined other VIP guests, including Olympian boxer John Joe Nevin; Paralympic Badminton Champion Sharon Barne-Jones and international football referee Douglas Ross who is also an MP in Scotland.
