New Traineeships Opportunities with BFCCST - Apply now

  • Brentford FC Community Sports Trust has 8 places open for its brand new 12-week Traineeship delivered in partnership with The English Football League Trust & GP Strategies starting in  Summer 2017

  • This fantastic opportunity is aimed at 16-18 year olds, who are currently residing in the London Borough of Ealing, unemployed or work less than 16 hours per week and have little work experience. Also, you must be qualified to below a Level 3 academic qualification (e.g. Less than two A-Levels or four AS-Level passes)

  • During the 12-week traineeship, you will study two modules (Level 1 Principles of Coaching & Level 1 Certificate in Employability) at Brentford FC’s Griffin Park Learning Zone based within Griffin Park

  • There is also an opportunity to obtain Functional Skills in Maths and English
  • Trainees will also be allocated a work based learning opportunity with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, for approximately 18 to 21 hours per-week. These opportunities can vary from coaching within a variety of projects to classroom based programmes and possible match day involvement with Brentford FC at Griffin Park

  • Trainees also qualify for Brentford FC CST staff uniform.

  • During the work based learning, you will be mentored by one of our experienced coaches

  • All successful candidates will be required to submit to a DBS/CRB check prior to starting

  • For suitable candidates, an FA Level 1 Coaching Course will be offered to supplement the 12-week traineeship

  • This will be the foundation for you to apply for the next step of your learning journey

THE NEXT STEP… Can you answer YES to all these questions?

  • Are you aged 16-18?

  • Are you academically qualified to below Level 3 (less than two A Levels or four AS Level passes)?

  • Motivated to work?

  • Unemployed, or work less than 16 hours per week and/or have little work experience?

  • Can you start in Summer 2017?

  • If you answered YES to all the above, then take the next step and you could be starting in the Summer  with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust.
