P.P.A time in Schools

From the 1st September 2005 teachers are to be allocated 10% of their timetabled teaching away from the classroom to plan, prepare and assess (P.P.A). Schools may include the use of outside agencies to deliver Key Stage 1 and 2 lessons to continue to deliver the National Curriculum.
BFC CST offer schools Key Stage 1 and 2 lessons in Football with the opportunity of staff producing lessons in Physical Education and School Sports, Literacy, Numeracy, P.S.H.E and other subject areas.

Staff are A.O.T.T`s (Adults Other Than Teachers) qualified ensuring a knowledge of Key Stage 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the National Curriculum. Head staff have a minimum F.A level 2 qualification with assisting staff at least F.A level 1 qualified, with all staff Child Protection and Emergency First Aid qualified, and Criminal Records Bureau checked. Lessons delivered will compliment the areas of the national curriculum currently being worked on, with coaches working in conjunction with teachers and schools to co-ordinate lessons.

 

In\After School

Qualified coaches are available to conduct a series of sessions during PE lessons to promote exercise, literacy, numeracy & cognitive thinking, based around the TOPS and Adults Other Than Teachers schemes.

BFC CST coaches visit schools throughout Hounslow, Ealing, Richmond & Hillingdon on a weekly basis. Over a thousand children take part in these clubs with the coaches providing structured coaching, organised games and lots and lots of FUN! Excellent value for money is provided for a small charge.
