BFC CST delivers a wide range of social inclusion programmes across Ealing, Hounslow and Richmond.
Positive Futures Positive Futures is a national sports based social inclusion programme managed by the Home Office Drugs Strategy Directorate and funded by the Home Office. The aim of Positive Futures is to use sport as a way of contacting ‘hard to reach’ 10-19 year olds and providing them with more informed education, health and lifestyle choices.
Positive Futures - Ealing The Brentford FC Community Sports Trust have teamed up with Active Ealing and Ealing’s Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) to launch a new Positive Futures activity programme called Ealing Positive Futures. The Ealing Positive Futures Programme will give young people the opportunity to take part in a variety of practical and enjoyable sporting activities including Football, Rugby, Table-Tennis, 'Boxercise' and Kayaking. Pathways will also be put in place to allow local young people to undertake coaching qualifications and become role models in their own communities. Other projects around the country have had some real success in demonstrating how sport can be used to combat social exclusion and make a real difference to the lives of local young people. For further details please contact the Positive Futures Manager, Mo Jama on 0845 262 9495 or mjama@brentfordfccst.com The Positive Futures programme has expanded to include two Hounslow Estates; Brentford Towers & Haverfield (Brentford) and Ivybridge (Isleworth/Twickenham). |
