2023 London Marathon Spaces Up for Grabs
Next year the London Marathon returns to its spring slot for the first time since 2019. More than 410,000 keen runners entered the ballot with results announced last week.
Those who have been successful will be able to start planning to take on the iconic TCS London Marathon course. If you haven’t been successful in the ballot, fear not, you still have the opportunity to be on the start line on April 23.
The Trust have a number if spaces available, just complete the form below/here https://forms.office.com/r/vDnqp0zHQ6 and we’ll get back to you in due course to allocate places.

In October Joe completed the grueling 26.2 miles on behalf of the Trust in 3 hours and 30 minutes.
He said, “I’ve been a lifelong fan of the club with my dad taking me to games ever since I’ve been little. Now I go to pretty much every home and away game I can attend, so that played a big part on it. Also I know that both the club and Community Sports Trust have done a lot of work with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY). The fact that the club and Community Sports Trust have this link hits quite close to home for me as my brother had some troubles with his heart around 18 months ago.”
“Obviously heart conditions became widely documented after the Christian Eriksen incident at the 2020 Euros and not long after that a similar situation happened to my brother. My brother was playing for his local football team when he suddenly collapsed, and an ambulance had to be called out. He’s okay now and back to playing football but, this really spurred me on to want to fundraise because some people want to run, and they never get the opportunity.”
If Joe’s story has inspired you then come and join us at the start line in 2023. All we require is 5 minutes of your time to tell us why you would like to run on behalf of the Trust. https://forms.office.com/r/vDnqp0zHQ6
