Watch: Our Match of the Day feature

Last weekend we featured alongside Brentford FC as part of the community segment during BBC’s Match of the Day programme

Every week on the Match of the Day Sunday repeat show, highlight different Community Sports Trust and Foundations projects is featured. The main aim is to showcase the different good work delivered from different PL football charities across the country. Last weekend we were able to promote the good work delivered at the Brentford Towers estate.

In a partnership with Hounslow Council and The Cruyff Court Foundation last year, we were able to help bring one of the Cruyff court pitches to Brentford Towers replacing the old concrete pitch with a new artificial grass pitch on which our sessions take place.

Brentford first-team players Sergi Canós and Josh Da Silva also made an appearance speaking to the cameras and joining in with the session managing opposing teams that were facing off. The pair also had the opportunity to award their player of the game with a Brentford Third jersey and spent some time with participants and parents after the cameras stopped rolling to take pictures and sign tops, boots and more.
