Brentford FC Community Sports Trust teams up with UWL to create community focused film
Brentford FC Community Sports Trust have teamed up with the University of West London (UWL) to capture the impact the Trust has on the local community. The unique partnership will see 2nd year students create a film that will be premiered to an audience of VIPs from across the local community.
The project is part of UWL’s commitment to provide students with real-work experiences that equip them for the world of work. Three students were selected through a rigorous recruitment process and will spend three months filming the work of the Trust.
Highlighting the importance of the partnership, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Anthony Woodman, said:
“The impact UWL has on the world is increasingly global but we will always be rooted in west London. Through this partnership we are providing valuable industry experience for our students and supporting the Trust to transform our local community. Every year we work with over 6000 industry partners so that our students are industry-ready when they graduate.”
Jasper Koryczan, a second-year film student, said: “This is an amazing opportunity to put the skills I have learnt into action and to work on a project that will look great on my CV when I graduate.”
