Education and employability header

“Education” and “Employability” are not two words you would normally associate with football.

Yet our Trust runs a purpose-built Learning Zone within the heart of Griffin Park – supporting hundreds of young people with education workshops, employment opportunities and tailored mentoring.

Our key projects include:

  • Journalism workshops, which help local primary school pupils improve their literacy skills.
  • Our intervention programmes that support young people who might be struggling at school.
  • Our Short Breaks initiative, which supports children with special needs through after-school clubs and holiday activities.
  • Our BTEC programme in partnership with West Thames College.
  • Our ‘Get Set’ project, which provides young people – from disadvantaged backgrounds – with employability skills and training opportunities.
