Earlier this week, Brentford players Kristoffer Ajer, Mathias Jensen and Romelle Donovan visited the Clubhouse Café in Gunnersbury Park to meet participants from the Trust’s Health programmes for a cuppa and a chat.
As the players head into the busy winter fixture schedule, the afternoon provided an opportunity to chat about all things away from the football pitch and find out more about the range of Health programmes the Trust deliver.
Participants from our Chair-Based Exercise group, Football For Thought, Comedy For Thought and Brentford Welcomes were all in attendance and enjoyed catching up with the players and engaging with them.
The Clubhouse Café has received funding and support from the Premier League and Professional Footballers' Association (PFA), which enables the Trust to deliver a range of community programmes from this new hub.
Barista Skills
During the afternoon, there was even the opportunity for Kristoffer, Mathias and Romelle to try their hand at being a barista with guidance from the staff at the Clubhouse Café. The participants appreciated their efforts and provided glowing reviews of the service from the players!
