Since the turn of the year Brentford FC Community Sports Trust has received over 1,000 responses regarding where the local community in Hounslow and Ealing would like sports spaces, how they want to use them and what sports they like to play.
The Trust now requires additional support and information in relation to specific locations across both Boroughs that have been highlighted as key areas by the local community.
Key locations for Hounslow: Heston West – Brabazon Road Estate, Syon and Brentford Lock – Brent Lea Recreation Ground, Brentford East – Clayponds Estate, Heston East – Heston Farm Estate, Feltham West - Highfields Estate, Heston Central – Sutton Lane, Hounslow South – Worton Road, Gunnersbury Park*
Key Locations for Ealing: Lady Margaret – Spikes Bridge Park, East Acton – Acton Park, Southfields – Southfield Recreation Ground, Dormers Wells – The Young Adult Centre, Gunnersbury Park*
*Due to the geographical location of Gunnersbury Park we are asking people from both London Boroughs to fill in the survey for this site.

What are PlayZones?
PlayZones are safe and accessible outdoor facilities that bring people together through football and other sports such as netball, cricket, basketball and rugby. These 30m x 20m activity spaces will be available for use day and night, all year round. The PlayZones programme aims to create over 240 PlayZones in England by 2025.
Accessible sports facilities for all
Providing opportunities and access to safe, inclusive and welcoming facilities are at the heart of the programme. Therefore we would like to hear from those who might not have traditionally had a chance to get involved in sport. We are particularly interested in hearing from people from lower incomes, women and girls, people with disabilities or long-term conditions and ethnically diverse communities.
