Brentford FC Community Sports Trust’s Gunnersbury Cup is back for 2023!

In 2022, the Gunnersbury Cup was a great success with over 150 teams joining us and the plan is for the tournament to be bigger and better than the last one. We look forward to welcoming teams locally and from further afield plus teams from across Europe for another great day of football.

Each age group winners of the cup competition will win match tickets and a behind the scenes stadium tour at the Gtech Community Stadium for a Brentford FC pre-season match this July 2023. All age group winners of the cup competition will also win free entry into next year’s 2024 competition.

DATE, TIME AND REGISTRATION

The Gunnersbury Cup 2023 age groups are as per 2022/23 season and we have a limited number of 16 spaces available per age group. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Venue: Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub, Popes Lane, London, W3 8LQ (parking available on site and charges apply).

Teams and age groups registration times are below with the duration of the tournament approx. 2.5 to 3 hours.

All teams will play in a group stage before entering either the cup or plate knockout stage. The U7 and U8 age groups will be non-competitive and these age groups will play in a round robin format.

All age groups will play 6-a-side with a maximum squad size of 10.

Medals will be awarded to the winners and runners-up of the cup and plate tournament.

• Saturday 1^stJuly 2023 – 08:30am – MIXED U7, MIXED U8
• Saturday 1^stJuly 2023 – 13:15pm – BOYS U13, BOYS U14
• Sunday 2^ndJuly 2023 – 08:30am – BOYS U9, BOYS U10
• Sunday 2^ndJuly 2023 – 13:15pm – BOYS U11, BOYS U12
• Saturday 8^th July 2023 – 09:30am – GIRLS U9/U10, GIRLS U11/U12
• Saturday 8^th July 2023 – 13:15pm – GIRLS U13/U14, GIRLS U15/U16
• Sunday 9^thJuly 2023 – 10:00am – All disability team age groups

COST

£50 per team (£5 per player for a squad of 10 players)

Upon entering, please contact the Gunnersbury Cup team to receive the 2023 competition pack which will include further information. It will include the player registration form, rules and details on how to view fixtures when they become available.

REFUND POLICY

No refunds or credits will be issued for any teams cancelling their place after Thursday 1st June 2023 or for not attending on the day.
