Join us for a screening of the life changing documentary ‘Steve’
The Trust will be screening the award winning film Steve on Monday 23 January from 6pm – 8.30pm at our Community Stadium Hub.
Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. 12 men a day. One man takes his own life every two hours.
One of those men was Steve Yates. But Steve was more than a number, he was a father, a son, a brother, and a friend.
Directed by Steve’s childhood best friend Ben Akers, the 90-minute documentary goes on a mission to look at why this is happening and what men can do to help themselves.
Join us on Monday 23 January for a screening of ‘Steve’, a documentary to save men from suicide. Hear first-hand from Ben Akers, and other special guests including Marcus Gayle (Club Ambassador), Ian Dobie (Chair of Board of Trustees), and Dr Maria Kempinska MBE (founder and owner of Jongleurs Comedy Clubs).
Light refreshments will be provided, and you can also learn about what Brentford FC Community Sports Trust are doing to support men in the local community.
